What size and complexity can be achieved on liquid handling manifolds
Subject to the application, manifolds can be produced in a range of sizes, shapes and complexities.
The three typical variables in a liquid handling manifold are the external dimensions, the number of layers and complexity of the internal liquid handling tracks and chambers.
Carville have produced manifolds from 25mm square (1.0”) up to 360mm square (14”). The thickness of these manifolds will vary depending upon the number of layers and track dimensions. Carville have produced complex manifolds with up to 7 layers and track dimensions ranging from 150 micron (0.006”) up to 25mm (1.0”).
