CAD Drawing

The Carville facility is equipped with the latest Auto CAD and Autodesk Inventor software packages.

These allow Carville to receive and review customer drawings in an electronic format. Preferred formats for drawings to Carville would be:

• Autodesk Inventor: 3D files with .ipt or .iam extensions
• Auto CAD: 2D or 3D files with .dwg, . dxf or . dwf extensions
• Other formats: 3D files with .stp, .sat, .iges or .prt extensions

When customer manufacturing drawings are not available, Carville can offer design assistance and drafting services at competitive rates.
